Each week I sift through dozens of local news and blog sites, curating the 10 most interesting stories from Hawaii, and then share them in a weekly roundup to readers all around the world.
#ICYMI HAWAII is a one-man operation and your suggestions are always appreciated. I want to thank Ava, Janine, Kent, and Kurt for helping to get this project off the ground. #ICYMI HAWAII is hosted on the WordPress platform and is provided free of charge to all subscribers.
Privacy: I do not share or sell subscriber email addresses (so please don’t ask for them).
There will be no advertising banners on #ICYMI HAWAII. On occasion, I will include affiliate links (and will let you know when I do); if you use them, we both win!
I was born and raised in Honolulu and currently live on the island of Oahu. I am a graduate of President Theodore Roosevelt High School, Honolulu Community College, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa. During the day, I am an instructional leader. At night, I am a closeted writer and photographer.
For over 10 years, I have been blogging, creating websites, and engaging with social media. I am a news junkie. I am passionate about capturing moments of life and preserving legacies through photography and video. I am an artist at heart and have an eye for minutiae. But most of all, I am passionate about doing something for someone else.
This project gives me chance to pull together my life experiences and my life’s interests, giving back to the community that I hold dear to my heart. This is a work of passion and I hope you will enjoy this journey as much as I will.
Mahalo for reading!
